At that time Anil Ambani was not even in the list of Board of directors of Reliance Group nevertheless Anil Ambani gets Reliance Communication with a non-compete clause for Mukesh Ambani, So, that he could not come with a new communication company.
In 2010 as soon as his non-compete clause agreement expired. Mukesh Ambani purchased 96% ownership in Infotel Broadband. At that time Infotel Broadband had already won 4G network all over India. When Mukesh Ambani became the owner of Infotel Broadband, he renamed it to ‘’JIO’’. When there was not even a proper network of 3G, Mukesh Ambani was planning for 4G network.
Mukesh Ambani is the old champion player of the communication industry, as he was the only one who set up Reliance Communication, with that experience, at the end of 2015 Mukesh Ambani launched Jio, with all new 4G network. Jio offers made a space in the heart of all Indians. With the success of Jio and with the guidance of his father Dhirubhai Ambani along with his hard work, now Mukesh Ambani is India’s richest person (#1).
